Can you move walls to make my bathroom bigger?
The Construction Authority is a full service General Contractor
with over 30 years experience. We can build almost any idea that
you may have in mind. We are a one stop shop for all trades and
a focal point for accountability.
Are you licensed and insured? Yes we are,
and all of the personnel that work for us are required to be licensed,
and insured including auto. We can provide a written copy of liability
and workers comp. at your request. Our CGC# is 046470.
How quickly do you contact us for an estimate?
We usually contact our potential clients same day and visit the
property within 48 hours. For emergency and restoration, we usually
contact and visit the property the same day.
Do you offer a written warranty? Your project
has a one year warranty and we are also part of the 2/10 warranty
program. All extended manufacture warranties are also honored.
Should I expect many surprises in costs when it comes
to building my home? The Construction Authority takes
pride in accurately estimating projects. With our experience,
we are very thorough with the entire process; making sure to include
everything. This competence invariably ensures that our estimate
will not be the lowest obtained during the preliminary stages
of your project. However, prospective clients can rest assured
knowing that we have taken every detail into consideration when
evaluating the project's design features and timeline. The last
thing any client wants is unexpected costs after signing a contract.
Can you draw up plans for my addition? Yes.
We will visit your property and evaluate the situation. We will
then draw up a preliminary drawing which is then forwarded to
our architect for final documents, unless you have one you are
already comfortable with.
What permits do I need to get? In most cases,
permitting is done by us. We have a permit issued to us as the
contractor on your job.
Do you have to pay all up front? No. We will
assign a draw schedule depending on the job. Collection is based
on milestones reached on a project and is there for your protection.
What would you say are your best attributes?
At The Construction Authority, we strive to do it all. We understand
the importance of constant communication with the client, as well
as our partners. We accept no less than the highest levels of
quality workmanship. We take pride in giving correct estimates
and staying on schedule from start to completion. Clean and safe
workplaces are also a priority; the last thing we want is someone
getting hurt. Showing respect towards the client and the pressures
that they are going through is paramount. The Construction Authority
believes success is based on doing everything correctly; it's
what we beleive customer service is all about.
Do you accept credit cards? The Construction
Authority accepts Visa and MasterCard
Will there be someone working on my house everyday?
Yes, the construction manager who is assigned to your project
runs a very tight schedule, and our workforce are required to
abide by that schedule. We understand that this is a very stressful
time for the client and will complete the project as quickly as
possible without losing quality. There may be days that you may
not see someone physically working, such as slab cure time, but
your project is monitored daily by the Construction Manager along
with office support.
I am not very good when it comes to architectural design,
but I need more space, can you help with ideas? Yes.
All personnel at The Construction Authority have countless experience
and have seen many concepts that you may have not seen before.
We can schedule a round table meeting and brainstorm on possible
alternatives that may look attractive to you. For us, design is
one of the most enjoyable phases of construction.
